Mr# Calvin recoEmend an additional appropriation of approximately §2,100# for drilling a well at Las Vegas, I beg to advise that I have received a letter from Mr# Lovett concurring with me in authorizing this additional expenditure, and therefore, I have today sent you from my lew York office, a telegram reading as follows:- * Referring your letter June sixteenth Mr# Lovett and I approve additional expenditure of approximately twenty one hundred dollars required for drilling well at Las Vegas."
