Knickerbocker, Vice-President Las Vegas Land and Water Company Los Angeles, C alifornia Dear S ir: I am banding you herewith the Original Applications, with Maps attached, o f subdividers making application for purchase o f water wholesale for th eir respective subdivisions, which would be under sim ilar contract as that o f the Wardie Addition and Boulder Syndicate, In c., which is that they construct th eir mains and tap onto our water system at the nearest point, purchasing th eir water from us as pe r agreement at wholesale. The four (4) applications above mentioned are as follow s: FIRST: That o f the FOURTEENTH STREET CITY ADDITION,- INC., by it s President, James T. Rear. You w ill note from the general map enclosed that his subdivision o f eighty (80) acres is abutting onto Fair View Tract, which is now under our present L, V. L. & W. Co. mains. I f we have su ffic ie n t water, and i t would appear with our newly constructed reservoir and twenty-four inch (24” ) Line that we sh all have, I would recommend that we grant the request o f this company. SECOND; That of the BOULDER DAM HOME-SITE ADDITION, INC., which is the John P. M ills Organization, In c., this request being signed by ¥. A. Rathburn, Secretary o f the M ills Organization. This subdivision is abutting onto the Fourteenth Street City Addition, In c., and the line from our Fair View Tract could supply both subdivisions, and I would therefore also recommend that we furnish them with water. -1 -
