Traom Subject: Sewer Survey, TT.P.R.P. - 3 - Cant'd* house presents the sssae objectionable sewerage as found in the proceeding description of manhole cond­ition. //II Manhole, is looated about 15" from the north wall of the Powerhouse, about midway of this north wall. It is of wooden construction with a plank cover. There is a denosit of oil, grease and sewage to a depth of 4" in the bottom* The condition of this box is terrible, particularly in view of the close location to the building and looated in front of an entrance. r!2 Manhole is of concrete construction, looated at the >JW comer of the powerhouse and within 6" of tte foundation wall. This manhole has a plank cover# It oontains 12" of solid sewage. The condition is in the nature of an old type privy, filthy and has an offensive odor. (Terrible) f!3 Manhole is an oblong pit, 18" from the west wall of the Powerhouse. The wails are wood on the one side and concrete on the Powerhouse side, with a loose plank oover. This is the high end of the sewer line. The pit has about 12" of oil and water in the bottom. #14 Manhole is about 150* north of the Powerhouse. on the line from the Storehouse to #10 Manhole. This manhole is constructed of 24" pipe on end with a tight fitting steel cover. This is the point where the sewer turns from the eastern direction (leaving the Storehouse) to the southern direction, -to tie into the main line in #10 manhole. The flow is good and the condition is clean. ;#1_5 Manhole is looated by the Roundhouse office and is the southern end of the main line, emptying into #6 manhole. This is a Generate pit about 2£» square. It is impossible to see the condition of this pit due to steam from the radiator condensate. #16 Manhole. baolc of Oarage yard fence, is constructed of 24" glased pipe on end with a round plank cover fitted into the bell of the glased pipe. This is the manhole where the train ooaohes dump their containers. V.e found broken glass and sewage in the bottom #17 Manhole is in the driveway by the fenoe on the north side of the Oarage yard. This is a regulation manhole and cover. e found broken glass and sewage clogged in the bottom. This Is the manhole on the line leading from the manhole by the fenoe at the rear of the yard.
