Sir: You are hereby advised that authority has been granted for the settlement of an indebtedness, amounting to $37.25 incurred by you during April 1893, in the open market purchase of 2,000 pounds of rolled barley, required for immediate use for feeding the government horses used by the farmer in charge of the Supai Indians, as evidenced by the voucher herewith returned- for file with your quarterly accounts.
