AKATEEN-Teen Enrichment Program Report - Summer 1993
On July 10, 1993, our AKAteen Tea was held. There were 16 Sorors in attendance and 20 interested young ladies along with their parents. The program progressed well. The philosophy of AkAteens was discussed. A thoughtful session on the pressing issues of society were discussed in small groups and presented to the body. Thanks to all sorors in attendance for making this an successful event.
AKAteen Social was held on August 21, 1993. There were 20 young ladies in attendance as well as 10 sorors. This get aquainted session was very enlightning. Pizza and drinks were served to all. Each young lady introduced herself through song. We were also delighted with the talents of a few young ladies. Out small group discussions further enlightened us on pressing issues of todays teens.
We are looking forward to the beginning of our workshops and community service projects that will begin September 25, 1993.
GREAT JOB COMMITTEE AND SORORS!!!
Respectfully submitted,
