NEVADA My Commission Expires April 14, 1957 ORDINANCE NO. 686 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The Land Use Plan Map adopted by Section IV of Ordinance No. 378, also re­ferred to as Section 10, Chapter 24, Code of the City of Las Vegas, 1949, is hereby amended to read as follows: a) FROM R-1 to C-2 The West 850 feet of the South 1,067 of the North 1,857 feet of the NW¼ of Section 26, T20S, R61E, MDB&M. Beginning at a point 100 feet south of the East one-quarter line of Section 27, T20S, R6lE, MDB&M, and the East right-of-way line of North 5th Street, thence southerly along the East right-of-way line of North 5th Street a distance of 400 feet more or less to a point, 500 feet south at right angles to the North line of the NE¼ of the SE¼ of Section 27, thence westerly and parallel to the aforementioned North line a distance of 100 feet; thence North a distance of 400 feet more or less to a point 100 feet south of the North line of the NE¼ of the SE¼ of Section 27, thence East and parallel to said north line to the true point of beginning. b) FROM R-1 to R-4 The South 1,067 feet of the North 1,857 feet of the NW¼ of Section 26, T20S, R6lE, MDB&M, except the West 850 feet. c) FROM R-1 to R-3 The East 350 feet of the SE¼ of the NE¼ of Section 26, T20S, R6lE, MDB&M. The North 798.87 feet of the South 988.87 feet of the East 1,118.54 feet of the SW¼ of the SE¼ of Section 21, T20S, R6lE, MDB&M. e) FROM R-1 and R-3 to R-4 A portion of the NE¼ of the SW¼ of the NW¼ of Section 1, T21S, R6lE, MDB&M, being bound by Euclid Avenue on the west, Wengert Avenue on the south, Atlantic Avenue on the east and Clifford Street on the north. f) FROM R-1 to C-C The SE¼ of the SE¼ of the SE¼ of Section 26, T20S, R6lE, MDB&M. g) FROM R-4 to C-2 Lot 16, Block 22, Boulder Addition. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its final reading and adoption, and final publication as in the next section provided. SECTION 4. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance to be published once a week for two successive weeks, immediately following its first reading and adoption in the Las Vegas Sun, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas.
