Public Service Commission of Nevada LAS VEOAS LAID AID WATER COMPANY LOS ANGELAS, April 10, 1943 Hr. 0. L. Ball! co - Hr. R. Wipprecht. + I hand you copy of AT>ril S, hie file A 310*34 ,H r*t oWgietphperrs Cwhitt1h* ldoectutmeern tosf referred to therein. . H. £ . o / APR 12 1943 Z had a talk recently with Hr. Sexton, Chairman of Nevada iAiblic Service Commission, who stated he ex* pacted to be in Las Yogas the latter part of next week and wanted to go over with ae the annual report pf the Water Company. He apparently la in the throes of his annual criticism of the report, which criticism becomes acute each year he receives this report. Z an inclined to believe that hie criticism will be directed at the ohargee made by the railroad company against the water company for maintenance of water mains and rent for pipe linee. It is not my intention in our meeting with him to engage in any extended controversy with him but rather to listen to his comments and possibly to secure his suggestions as to how these accounts should be set up to satisfy the Commission. To that end, therefore, Z felt that your presence would be extremely helpful at the conference and that your prior consideration of the enclosed documents would be helpful to both of us. You will note that there are no extra ooples of the annual reoort and it must be returned to Hr. Wipprecht after our meeting with Hr. Sexton* Z would be glad to go over this with you any time next wtek at your oonvehience prior to our meeting with Hr. Sexton, which, as I have stated, Is tentatively scheduled for the latter part of next week. K. I. Bennett IeXnoBlt.brh • - Mr. Wipprecht: Acknowledging receipt of your letter of the 8th and documents referred to therein.
