Sutton - Omaha: Referring to your letter of June 3d» your file 704-36, In connection with proposed bond election to be called by the Las Vegas Valley Water District looking towards the purchase of the water properties of the Water Company and the railroad company in Las Vegas While in Las Vegas yesterday, I was advised that they hope to call this election about the second week in August. That is not a guarantee however as I have heard similar "hopes" for the last year but in view of the fact that the contract between the railroads and the Water Company and the District haB been executed, I thlnkx we can reasonably assume that the election will be called not later than that date.
