Bates, Agent Gentlemen: In response to your letter of May 15th enclosing the proposed draft of conveyance from Las Vegas Land and Water Company to Las Vegas Valley Water District, we advise that the conveyance as prepared would not, in any way, affect the balance of the land owned by Las Vegas Land and Water Company or the Railroad Company and not included in the conveyance. Even though the Railroad Company joined in the conveyance, we feel that the instrument would not affect the lands retained by the Railroad Company and Water Company generally as the ease- MMS/bh
