Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSIONER Resignation of H.E. Hazard Commissioner Jarrett moved the resignation of H.E. Hazard as commissioner of the Housing Authority of the City of Las Vegas be accepted and a letter sent to Mr. Hazard thanking him for the service he has performed in this capacity; futher that said resignation to be effective as of this date. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. Appointment of Clesse M. Turner Commissioner Jarrett moved that Clesse M. Turner be appointed as Commissioner of the Housing Authority for the remainder of the unexpired term caused by Mr. Hazard's resignation; and said term which expires June 6, 1953. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Whipple. JOURNEYMEN PLUMBERS CERTIFICATION Discussion was held with Mr. Jack Hynds, Chairmen of the Plumbers Examining Board relative to the Commission establishing a deadline for Journeymen Plumbers receiving their certification as such from the City. Thereafter the Clerk was instructed to transmit this information of the proposed policy to the Central Labor Council for their recommendation. The deadline stipulated was April 15. 1953. There being no farther business to come before the Board at this time, Commissioner Bunker, moved this meeting adjourn.
