*• Sm February 19, 1-7534 1952 MEMORANDUM FOR FILE: Auditor E. R. Miller asked Sup't. to furnish estimate of amount to be charged during 1952 to Joint Facility Rents covering water facilities at Las Vegas. Mr. J. H. Hamilton, Division Engineer's Chief Clerk, who I is preparing this data for transmission to Auditor, asked me to furnish this estimate for our Department. Auditor's Statement furnished to E. E. Bennett with his letter of March 2, 1951, of Joint Facility Rents for 1950 indicated charge for Management Expense was $2,816.81, of which amount $1,373.88 was charge from our Department. Detailed figures in our file were considerably more than this amount, and apparently the figure of $1,373.88 was arrived at by conference. This figure was used by UPRR in billing LVL&W throughout 1951. As wages in Jan. 1952 are about 5% higher than in Jan'. 1951, my estimated 1952 Management expense is based on this 5% increase with a slight increase in personal expenses, making total of $1,565, per pencil detail attached. These figures were arrived at after conference with Mr. Adamson. L. C,, Conner 'RM 9^
