I agree.3FV ??*'" M February 19, 1954 80-11 W M . PQ Mr. James I*. Beebe FEB 19 <*954 433 South Spring Street Los Angeles, California Dear Mr. Beebes In connection with contract between the Railroads, the Water Company and the Water District, and referring to our recent conversation in which you stated that the bond houses want some sort of a letter of understanding or amendment to the contract in question relative to the ninety-day cancellation option in Section 14 of the contract : I would appreciate if you would have sent to me a draft of the proposed document or amendment which you think would be satisfactory to the bond houses. As you know, a matter of this kind will have to go to Omaha, and possibly to New York, especially if the contract is to be amended, and this will take considerable time, and I am very anxious to get all these outstanding matters closed up so far as possible prior to the actual transfer. Yours very truly, E. E. Bennett EEBsps cc Mr. ii^?%ia^Jiardt | lmimBm| j * Sais33 FEB « 54 U c * Co
