Nevada, for years 1936 to 1942, I am unable to reconcile gallonage for years 1939 and 1940 as reported in your letter with that shown on statement Col, nBn attached to my telegram ,3-142 of May 1st to Mr, R. LVL&WC o, 1,217,410,000 UPRRCo, Not knqwn UPRRCo. 237,918,971 Total 1,455,328,971 The gallons of water used by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company is taken from statement of meter readings at Las Vegas furnished monthly by Water Service Foreman to’Mr, E, J, Doolin who used the gallonage as reported by Meters Sparling 8” #2601 West Side, Sparling 16” #2594 .City of Las Vegas and Sparling #7064 City of Las Vegas which amounts to approximately 95% of the water used and is in accordance with letter of August 3, 1938 from Mr. H. H. Larson with the exception of Meter Sparling #7064 added in December 1939, The charge for the year 1942 was based on water used during the preceding year (1941) and not for period January 1 to April 30, 1942 as stated in your letter,' This refers only to the corrected valuation for 1941 which was not known until March 27, 1942 and covers the, adjustment in valuation for the four months of 1942 previously -billed.
