If we are going to again excavate Clark Street and, considering the difficulty which we may encounter in securing pipe of any diameter, I will be glad to have you consider the advantage of replacing the 1160* of 10" 0.X. pipe, between Main and 3rd, with a similar amount of 12", 14* or 16"} and re-using the 10* pipe thus removed, from the present terminus of the 12" to the alley between 8th and 9th on Clark street, where 6* pipe is now in place.
