Bryan Foy (right), one of the Seven Little Foys whose father, Eddie Foy, Sr., became famous in show business by entertaining the nation with his small offsprings, here points to Peter Foy, head of special effects for the Desert Inn. The two Foys, who are unrelated and had not met before, found that Peter's family consists of true Foys from England and Ireland, while Bryan's father early changed his name from Fitzgerald to Foy to "hide" his theatrical ventures from his family. s^** A MUSICAL TWOSOME ?╟÷ Singer Marni Nixon and her husband-composer Ernest Gold were recent visitors to the Desert Inn. Gold is best known for his composing and scoring of the music for the film "Exodus," for which he received an Academy Award. m 1 WHAT A CATASKASTROKE! Jimmy Durante exclaims, as he is presented the grandfather of grapefruits, a Pomelo, by one of his dancers, Jeanne Carroll. Durante, who was appearing on stage in the DI's Crystal Room this summer, was given the oversized grapefruit by the Grapefruit Growers of California.
