Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. This being the time set for the opening of bids for the installation of sewer trunk lines as specified in Schedule "A" of the sewer improvement project, bids were received from the following firms: Charles J. Dorfman $85,463.20 George E. Miller 88,282.75 Longley Construction Co. 98,798.33 Wells Cargo Co. 88,914.10 Commissioner Bunker moved the foregoing bids be referred to the City Manager, City Engineer and Comptroller for tabulation and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. This being the time set for the opening of bid No. 53.24 for the furnishing of a Rodding Machine for the sewer plant, bids were received from the following firms: W.H. STEWART No Bid SOUTHWEST SEWER TOOL CO. $4,179.05 Commissioner Jarrett moved the foregoing bid be referred to the City Manager for tabulation and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. This being the time set for the opening of bids for the installation of a 4" Water Line to the sewer plant, bids were received from the following firms: LONGLEY CONSTRUCTION CO. $2414.00 ALLEN & FAILING CONST. CO. 2256.70 Commissioner Sharp moved the foregoing bids be referred to the City Manager and City Engineer for tabulation and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
