I agree.% LAS VEGAS EVENING REVIEW JOURNAL April 13, 1945 $8,400,000 Ca Reclamation Bareaa Item Includes Gigantic Project ; (Related Stories Inside) An $8,400,000 pumping and canal system for the Las Vegas area is contained in the bureau of reclamation for the fiscal year, it was reported today by United Press dispatches from Washington, D. C. The program; as outlined by the bureau, is the i .largest single plan for the state of Nevada, the report 1 said, and the bureau has spent r“—* **«»——p—£ several years on the survey for the project. The report also stated that un- j der_the bureau’s program, it will j take three years to complete, once j it is started. There was no in- | formation regarding the starting ? date, and it was assumed, that it would be. a post war project. The program, it was understood, was one Which had beerf ; under some discussion for the past ? j several years and would put hun-1 dreds Of thousands of acres under : cultivation in this section. ' .
