MS TOGAS LAND AND WATER COMPANY 3 rs.u- \ Los Angeles, October 21, 1919* Mr. Walter R, Rraoken, Las Vegas, Nevada* Dear Sir:- I have your letter of October 18th in regard to the proposal discussed by us to furnish a number of the Land and Water Company’s houses at Las Vegas in order to more readily keep them occupied. X do not believe that, considering the high prices of furnishings, we are justified in making the investment which the execution of the plan will involve* I am also skeptical of the advantage of enlarging the four room houses, as suggested, but in order that we may run the matter down to a conclusion, I would like to have at least an approximate estimate of the cost of doing this; as suggested in your letter* Yours very truly.
