    3 < 7 Ci until January 1, 1966, at which time said covenants shall be automatically extended for successive periods of five years, unless by a majority vote of the then individual property | owners in each subdivision it is agreed to change the said covenants in whole or in. part, provided, however, that the restrictions contained in paragraph 8 shell be perpetually appur­tenant to such land. « . % - 12. If any person shall violate or attempt'to violate any of the covenants or restriction herein*before* January 1, 1966, or such time later as may be set up by the provision of the paragraph immediately preceding this one, it shall be lawful for any other person or persons owning a lot or lots in any subdivision embraced within the above described parcel of land to prosecute any proceeding at law or in equity .against the person or persons violating or attempting to violate any such covenants or restrictions and either to prevent him or them m suoaivisiou eaiurwueu wxuujlu a w v c j. ^ against . from so doing or to recover.damages or other dues for such violation.
