V the Water District for said initial period or year. The amount of any excess shall he paid by BMI to the Water Dis­trict or the amount of any deficiency shall be paid by the ‘ £ Water District to BMI, not later than the tenth day of the third calendar month Immediately succeeding the end of said initial period or year. (c) Monthly charges for the delivery of water shall be the actual amounts paid or payable by BMI to the State of Nevada or the Colorado River Commission for the immediately preceding calendar month, pursuant to Paragraph 2lf(b) hereof* It is understood by the parties that the charges for the delivery of water specified in Paragraph 2if(b) are governed by the provisions of other contracts t, Z* V of the Colorado U f River Commission add the Department of Interior, including ?Vty the Bureau of Reclamation, and therefore saidr, charges ?may be subjeot to adjustment after the close of the accounting periods hereunder. In the event of any such adjustment made after the close of the accounting period hereunder, and in so far as said adjustment shall affect the charges for the delivery of water hereunder, in the month that said adjustment becomes effective, a corresponding adjustment shall be made In the bill of the Water District for that month. Said correspond­ing adjustment shall be applied as a debit or credit, as the case may be, against the charges otherwise due from the Water District for that month and any remaining debit or credit 19.
