I agree.C o u n t y t a x e s f o r l o t s las Vegas, Nev., April 25, 1912, Mr, H« I, Bettis, Vice Pres,, Las Vegas Land & Water Co,, Los Angeles, Cal. Dear Mr, Bettis; Referring to your note asking to advise what you should answer to enclosed letter, would say I have had a talk with the assessor, and I find that he is going to place a valuation of #250,00 on corner lots and #200,00 on inside lots of block Sixteen, This is just double to what it was last year, but considering the revised laws for the State of Nevada for 1912,' Section 3623, I do not believe it would be of any advantage to make complaint against his assessed value. If the assessor* s valuation is increased, it will correspondingly reduce the assessment .efesrgerr I beleive it will be better to let the matter rest with .him in this manner until such time as the assessment roll is made up for the County Commissioners, WRB-AH. Yours very truly, A g e n t .
