H I - lbs Angeles: * K-907: First, all collections are being made on new rate* Advice of 60 per cent increase contained in F R j&c^amee'e letter April 16, 1931, pertains to schedule we submitted to Com­mission, fhe increase in rate actually allowed by Commission is approximately 30 per cent* This is apparent, as for instance we requested increase of #1 on private residences but were allowed 50 cents* Qn extra frontage residential districts we requested increase 5 cents each extra 140 sq.ft, but were allowed 1 cent* On offices we requested increase 50 cents and were allowed 85 cents. Drug stores increase requested 50 cents allowed nothing. Similar reductions in our request made throughout rate schedule. Increase 47 per cent in December made possible by an increase of 13*8 per cent in number of services with 20 per cant increase in rate-on all services.
