Montgomery 15 North Oakland Pasadena, California Bear Mr. Montgomery: file City of Las Vega® has entered into construction con­tract for the extension of trunk line sewers in the City of Las Vegas and has requested the Las Vegas Land and Water Company to grant certain easements over and across the lands of this company, ownership of which .will be conveyed to the Las Vegas Valley Water District under terms of Agreement wO*L.D. 11342 dated June 1, 1953 covering sale of Water Company to Water Dietriot. Based on Information furnished &® by the City authorities, I understand the City is anxious to obtain these easements at the earliest possible date, and it is ay thought that It might expedite matters somewhat if 1 would present the matter to you for your comment and possible approval as to engineering features of the granting of the easements requested prior to the presentation to the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Valley Water District. In view of the above I as submitting herewith one map pre­pared by this company dated February 11, 1954, which shows In green color the location and width of easements requested by the City over and across lands which it is proposed to sell to the District under the terms of Agreement MC*L.D. 1134-2 mentioned above. I am also attaching on® copy of the letter dated February 2, 1954, from the City of Las Vegas requesting the ease­ments mentioned above.
