I agree.Las Vegas - March 25* 195^ Mr. L. V. Peart - Omaha cci Hr. L. H. Maag Your letter March 2, 195^* file BD 5-7$ Since the aggregate amount of all uncollected water service accounts Is to be added to the basic purchase price for the Water Company property, it is important that as of the sale date all base rate changes and accrual of water service charges for both old and new accounts be on a current basis. At present the field work required in this connection is somewhat in arrears. Also, construction is underway in five new subdivisions, which will result in approximately ?00 new water service accounts when the homes are completed and occupied, which will require close attention to insure that the charges for water service are placed in effect at the time water service is started. This matter has been discussed at some length with Mr. Maag, who has arranged to immediately increase the field force from one to two men and to watch the situation closely so that the accounts will be on a current basis at the time of the transfer of the property.
