    18 12-18-57 The Commission requested that Mr. Cox be contacted and a further report made at the next meeting. SEWER INSTALLATION City Manager Kennedy reported that the cost for the installation of sever in Block Block 6, BDH #4 6 of Boulder Dam Homesite #4 has been estimated at $182.00 per 50 foot lot. Mr. / Kennedy stated that all districts will have to be done by an improvement district with the contract financed with the banks. He stated that at the meeting of January 8th there will be a report ready for the Commission, and requested additional time. EASEMENTS - The Commission considered an Easement from the City to the Southern Nevada Power Southern Nevada Power Company, being 10 feet in width from Vegas Drive southerly into the Municipal Ball Co. - Ball Field & Hyde Field at the Golf Course. Park Junior High School Commissioner Fountain moved this easement be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Consideration vas given to an Easement from the City to the Southern Nevada Power Company for a strip 12 feet in width along the proposed right-of-way lines of the south and east unnamed streets at Hyde Park Junior High School. Commissioner Fountain moved this easement be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. RESOLUTIONS ACCEPTING The Board considered a deed from Homer P. and Irene E. Carey for a 50 foot right-of- R/W DEEDS way for Washington Avenue vest of Pecos Drive. Washington Avenue On motion of Commissioner Fountain, duly seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried unanimously, the following resolution is adopted and order made: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED On motion of Commissioner Fountain, duly seconded by Commissioner Bunker, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 18 day of December, 1957; by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the Deed, dated the 9 day of December, 1957; executed by Homer P. Carey and Irene E. Carey to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purpose of street; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said Deed, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board. King and Evelyn L. King and Carol L. King to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of street; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said Deed, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board. Noble The Commission considered the deed from Mary G. Dixon for a 40 foot right-of-way for Noble Lane, north of Washington Avenue. On motion of Commissioner Fountain, duly seconded by Commissioner Bunker and car­ried unanimously, the following resolution is adopted and order made: RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED On motion of Commissioner Fountain, duly seconded by Commissioner Bunker, and carried unanimously, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 18 day of December, 1957; by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the Deed, dated the 5 day of December, 1957; executed by Mary G. Dixon to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes of street; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said Deed, and that the same be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and this resolution be filed in the records of this Board.
