The Meeting was called to order by Vice-President Blitzer at 3:00 PM. 2. The Minutes of the Board Meeting of September 19, 2004 were read and approved. 3. Major Agendum Item: Selection of Officers and Members of the Board of HSGSN for the next 2 years. 4. Vice-President Blitzer had contacted a number of members of the Organization to assemble the slate. They had all agreed to serve as Officers and Members of the Board for 2004-2006. a. The remaining slots to be filled were those of President, Vice-President, and members of 2nd Generation Holocaust Survivors, willing to serve on the Board. b. Presidents Henry and Anita Schuster were approached to ascertain if they would serve another term. Upon agreeing, Henry and Anita Schuster were nominated (Kronberg, seconded, B. Lesser) and were duly elected to serve another term. c. In the spirit of the motion passed at the previous Meeting of HSGSN (Sept 19, 2004), that is, the vote to increase the Board of HSGSN from 10 to 12 members, to include at least 2 members of the Group known as "2nd Generation of Holocaust Survivors", David Gavrin and Raymonde Fiol were nominated as the 2 members of the 2nd Generation of Holocaust Survivors Group to serve on the Board of HSGSN. These 2 individuals were then duly elected. d. Vice-President Blitzer resigned as Vice President of HSGSN. He was then duly nominated and elected to be a member of the Board. e. Dr. Bruno Borenstein, President of the 2nd Generation of Holocaust Survivors Group had agreed to serve as Vice-President of HSGSN. He was nominated (Kronberg, seconded Lebovic) and duly elected. The complete set of Officers and Members of the Board are now: Henry and Anita Schuster, co-Presidents; Dr. Bruno Borenstein, Vice-President; Jean Lesser, Treasurer, Dr. Ludwig Bauer, Secretary.
