This project was approved by you on July 13, 1953* It was necessary to obtain & permit to construct the new line in Charleston Boulevard from the State Highway Department, State of Nevada, In obtaining this permit, the State requested that the line be constructed along the south side of Charleston Boulevard, instead of the north «ud© as Indicated in print attached to my letter of July 8th. In order to comply with the requirements of the Highway Depart­ment permit, which will be issued for this new line, the new 8* water main w&s constructed on the south side of Chariseton Boulevard at location indicated on revised Draw­ing A 1101 dated August ?, 1953, three copies of which are attached hereto. Before this line was constructed in the location indicated, I called Mr. Montgomery’s office in Pasadena, and in the absence of Mr. Montgomery was assured by Mr. Eberly that Mr. Montgomery’s office would approve change and the attached revised print® are furnished you as a
