I agree.fy * 7 H 0 T E LAS 1 VEGAS, NEVADA, September 18, 1952 Las Vegas Land and Water Co. 401 South 2nd Street Las Vegas, Nevada Attention: Mr. W. H. Johnson Gentlemen: Referring to your letter of September 11, wherein you outline a billing for water service to numerous refrigerating machines in the El Cortez, I want you to know that we feel that this charge is extremely out of order and quite out of line with other water uses in the area. The refrigerating machines all have evaporative condensers in connection with same, and the only water that is used by the refrigerating machines is that which evaporates in cooling the gases that run through the condenser which, on a 60 ton machine, would be considerably less than one sprinkler for home use; and yet you set out a charge of $92.00 per month for water to a 60 ton refrigerating machine, and charge approximately $3.00 per connection for home use. I would like to say that I am referring this matter to the Public Service Commission, along with a copy of this letter, and we will have to await the Public Service Commission hearing before we will pay this bill. o O W.
