In the event any new purchases are made suggest consideration be given by Mr. L. R. Maag, to charging the amo'unts \ thereof to Ledger Account:., Materls-l and Supplies, unless it is \ definitely known such material or equipment will be used in re-1 pair work prior to the sale date. With respect to any such new and unused equipment or material and supplies on hand, which value when purchased was charged to Operating Expenses, suggest that consideration be given by Mr. L. R. Maag to transferring these items and value to Ledger Account: Material and Supplies. Providing you have no objections to my suggestions mentioned in the foregoing and new purchases and transfer of materials are handled accordingly, there will only remain the second hand tools and equipment presently being used by the Superintendent, Water Service,Repairmen, and Laborers for maintenance and repair work to be disposed of at time of sale. If these are to be sold to the Water District at a second hand value, their location should be known in order to expedite the taking of inventory of these items on the sale date.
