Montgomery 15 Worth Oakland Pasadena, California Bear Mr, Montgomery: Please refer to my letter of February 10, 195^* furnishing you certain financial data which I ara informed will appear in the Annual Report of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company for the year ending December 31, 1953* Referring to the last paragraph on page 1, wherein I explained the item * Joint Facility Rents'*, will you please substitute the following paragraph therefor: "For your information I might explain that the item 'Joint Facility Rents' represents amount paid to Union Pacific Railroad Company as Lessee of the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company for interest, rental, taxes, etc, on the value of water production facilities owned by the latter company prior to the time they were sold to the Las Vegas Land and Water Company on August 1, 1953*“ W M .
