E* Bennett Dear Mr* Montgomery: I am attaching hereto statement headed "Transits Water Pipe and Couplings U*P*RR Storehouse, Las Vegas" whioh shows the description and value of transite pipe and fittings now held in the Railroad store accounts at Las Vegas, Nevada. This transite pipe Is all new pipe, I believe, and is being held in the Las Vegas Store for the purpose of providing a supply of the various sizes of pipe whioh could be used In case of emergency. This pipe was purchased primarily for use in connection with the operations of the Water Company in Las Vegas and is avail­able for transfer to the inventory of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company* It is my thought that the District could use this pipe, to advantage after they get into operation and this letter is being written you to ascertain if the District desires to acquire any of this material in connection with the Sale of the Water Facilities to them by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company* Before making your recommendation to the District, it may be that you would wish to inspect this pipe with me the next time you visit Las Vegas. If all or any part of this material Is transferred to the inventory of the Water Company, the District will acquire ownership to it under provisions contained in the Agreement SC*L.D. 11342 dated June 1, 1953, as provided in Paragraph (d) Section 9 Page 24 of said Agreement.
