R. m 2 jA Referring to your letter of April 10, 1950, file 1-733^ and 5-page memorandum dated March 29, 1950 attached thereto concerning proposed application for increase in water rates at Las Vegas, Nevada, and particularly to paragraph 2 on page ^ of the memorandum relating to the value and area of the water producing lands to be included in the rate base: In his letter to me of April 2 5 , 1950, Mr. Charles Adams has suggested the following disposition of the lands at Las Vegas in this connection: (a) the land lying east of the eenter line of Sections 28 and 33 should be retained for industrial use; (b) the land west thereof and extending to the eenter line of Sections 29 and 32 should be retained for subsequent sale as residential property; (e) w tMr? X 1 1950 the land west of the center line of Sections 29 and 3 2 , together with rights of way for the existing pipe lines and power transmission line, should be considered in the pending rate hearing and in subsequent negotia­tions respecting the sale of lands and water facilities to the District.
