The pump in railroad yards is being operated continuously, day and night, deliver­ing over a million gallons of water per day to the city mains, in addition to the regular supply from the well and spCroimnmgesr.cing today a special ©hecker is patrolling the town to check: any violations o '* the City Ordinance recently passed, which prohibits waste of water through hose, leaky taps, etc*, the ordinance providing penalties of up to 150 for -violations*
