Rooming house, Lynndyl November 35. 1913 1913. Mr. W, H. Bancroft 7 /vJ“/ Mr. J. Rosa Clark,'' Special Committee. Dear Sirs: Our rooming house at Lynndyl, which is under lease to Winnie Wagner for the sum of |25.00 per month, is not provided with any heating arrangement, the only stove being one small one in the hall, and in consequence it is difficult to hold any roomers there during the cold weather. I looked over the situation on the ground with Mr. Yan Housen last week and upon the lessee* s agreeing to pay rental on the increased cost due to the installation of heating plant, I authorized Mr. Yan Housen to secure bids and submit form 30 to cover. This arrangement will inure to our own benefit by providing a comfortable place for employees at that point, where it has been found difficult in the past to maintain a competent force during the winter months. ? • Yours truly, tf/E
