Panoramic view of a group of people at the funeral of A.M. Kushiwa in the Tuscarora Mountains, Elko County, Nevada. An Asian-American man presides and several Asian-American people are present. The mine in the background is the Basque Mine located in the Tuscarora Mining District. The caption reads,"Burial services at the mine for A.M. Kushiwa. Asian culture believes the funeral should take place at the site of death whenever possible. I can only assume that he was a miner in some type of accident. April 23, 1933."
