Thomas A. Campbell Page 4 August 27, 1 9 5 3 western cities. The people must realize that they are not only paying for water service but would be assuring the future of the valley. There are certain areas outside of the City of Las Vegas which are cultural, the main one being the "strip area" which is in need of supplemental water. By that I mean that if supplemental water was available, I could curtail drilling to a large extent. This may be necessary in any event in that particular area. I hope the District plans some extension to that area in the near future. If there are any points you desire further data on please let me know. You know, of course, of my great Interest in this matter and feel free to call on me for any assistance I can render. Sincerely yours, HAS:at CC/Harry Jameson Las Vegas Well Supervisor, Las Vegas, Nevada.
