:Personals Mr. G. F. Ashby: Los Angeles - February 27» 19^5 During Mr. J e ffe r s ' v is it here, I was called Into his o ffic e to take part with Messrs. Bracken and Folger in discussion of the water situation at Las Vegas. The two la st named gentlemen presented argument that we should this year have two additional w ells, to be on production before hot weather, and made some other comments concerning the production of water. I was forced to advise Mr. Jeffers that I did not concur in the need for two w ells, and assured him that the d r illin g of one new well and In stallation of pipe line together with reh abilitation of some of our existing wells would take oare of the situation fo r this year. I then commented upon the need fo r additional storage capacity. Mr. Jeffers instructed me to write him in fu ll about the storage situ ation , which I have done as per copy of my le t t e r date attached. Frank Strong
