I agree.September 15. 19&6 Dear Freddy, I'll bet you couldn't count the number of people in your bridge career that have said to you: "Do you remember that hand you played against me in the qualifying round of such and such an event add you set me 1*1-00?" Well, I want you to know that the fact that you remember that I set you 1*1-00 must mean that it's a rare day when you go set 1*4-00. So I'm still as impressed as ever with your bridge playing ability. Your personal note was appreciated. I'm bringing two plane loads of people with me. Unfortunately, they are just four passenger planes. I will be playing with a friend of Bobby's who has never played in any kind of tournament before and is a bit of a clown. I?╟╓m keeping my fingers crossed that nothing happens that his ethics get questioned. I've never played with him but he is a good friend and very rich. I do have a question. Bobby wants to know what you mean by standard conventions and what deviates from standard. I think he's getting at things like the Jacoby 2NT bid. I hope you can answer this without getting into too much detail as I know you are a bus# man. Look forward to seeing you.
