The luncheon menu was finalized. A three course "sit-down" dinner will be served including a Ceasar's salad, Chicken Vesuvio with accompaniments, and cheese cake for dessert. The cost of the meal with gratuity is $22.50 per person.2. A check for $400.00 for the travel and accommodations for the guest speaker Soror Rosalind Griffin, M.D. was approved.3. Soror Barbara Kirkland, assisted by Soror Ethel Archibald will collect money for tickets at the March 3, 2001 sorority meeting. Final count and payment must be submitted to the Resort on March 10, 2001.4. Soror Annette Craighead along with Soror Sharon Savage will coordinate the publicity activities with the various media groups.5. Soror Darlene Hancock submitted a mock-up of the program.6. Soror Quin Rivers will finalize the entertainment including selections from the Theta Theta Omega Chorus.7. Soror Ethel Archibald will set a date for the committee to wrap the luncheon souvenirs.8. Since one of the goals of this year's luncheon is to highlight the chapter's leadership accomplishments, I would request that sorors complete and return their 2000-01 Leadership Vita to Soror Billie Rayford by March 10, 2001. The Luncheon will be at the Monte Carlo Hotel at 12 noon on Saturday, February 2,2002. The menu is Baby Mesclun Greens, Tomatoes, cucumbers, with ranch and vinaigrette dressing, breast of chicken Piccata with Capers, Broccoli, cauliflower and carrots, chefs choice of potatoes, rice or pasta, freshly baked rolls and butter, creamy cheesecake topped with seasonal berries, and freshly brewed coffee, decaffinated coffee, hot tea and iced tea. The lunch will cost 18.50 plus 7.25% tax and 17% gratuity.

Sorors are asked to be responsible for three tickets and asked to try to sell at least five. We have a guarantee of three hundred seats at the luncheon. Tickets will be handed out before and after the meeting in December and January. The deadline for selling tickets and handing in money is Friday, January 18,2002.Sorors will wear pink and green at Founders Day Program, Dais and hostesses will wear white. Diane Stith is working with Kappa Xi and other sorors to be hostesses.The rededication/reception is Friday, February 1 at 8:30 p.m. at the home of Ouida Brown immediately following the Arts and Humanities Program.Sorors have agreed to do the following: Table Centerpieces and Podium DecorationBarbara Kirkland and Donnyss Rucker $ 350.00 at costSpeaker (Expenses) etc.Preparations and ExpectationsSami RandolphTransportation and lodging for speaker and regional director have been secured. Souvenirs and Guest Gifts
Ouida Brown & Ethel Archibald Gifts will be done at Soror Achibald’s home on December 28th at 11:30 a.m. Soror Annette Craighead will be making AKA note cards for the two guest. Fruit Baskets will await the guest in their rooms also - Archibald Corsages will be provided for guests, basileus, anti-basileus, chartered members and chairman.
Invitations will be sent to Greek Letter Organizations and Other Service Organizations give names and addresses to Soror Craighead so that they may be sent out during the month of December.
