WHEREAS death has removed from his field of activity and usefulness, our associate and friend, Hampton E. George; and whereas, through a long personal acquaintance and an intimate official relationship with him, we had learned to regard him as a man pre-eminent for his mental and moral qualifications; for his sound judgment, supported by an inflexible sense of equity and justice; for his sympathetic and genial attitude toward his associates and his fellow men, now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Mt. Gaines Consolidated Mining Co., and the community at large have suffered an irrepara ble loss in his untimely death. That we alao feel deep-ly the severance of those personal chords which bound us to him as a brother. RESOLVED that the sympathy and condolence of the Board of Directors and stockholders of the Mt. Gaines Consolidated Mining Co. be extended to the bereaved family, and that a copy of the resolutions be spread upon the minutes of the Company. )Signed) F . C . Longe (Signed) M. E.
