covering lease by latter of premises at £ast 7 th Street and nisei on goad, Lee Angeles, California, together with building thereon (eld automobile dock) to be used as vegetable packing shed, for tern of one year from July 1, 1932, rental 150.00 per month, be, and the name is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. lease agreement, Audit So. 9449, dated October 27, 1931, between LAASLKM Co. and the Hath Sales Company, assigned to LVL&9 Ooffipaay by Contract Audit So. 9555 datod January 5, 1932, covering lease of neat packing house at first street aad Mission Mead, lea Angelas, for torn of five years expiring May 31, 1936, provides for rental of $2,099.39 plus 3j£ upon eoet of any improvements made, lessee to pay taxes and insurance. Subsequent improvements increased annual rental to $2,193.73 exclusive of taxes and Insurance. Due to refrigerating machinery in this packing house purchased by lessee from former tenant being obsolete and expensive to operate, together with deezeaeed volume of sales, lessee represented unable continue lease except at reduced rental. Inasmuch as this packing house facility is adaptable only for a particular purpose, xeooemendation was mads that rental be reduced to $l,500.0u per annua, plus taxes end insurance, effective September 21, 1932, for remaining term of lease, which was approved by president Gray on September 15, 1932. thereupon, on motion duly seconded, it was unanimously solved, that tbs action of the President in approving reduction in rental of aforesaid lease, and likewise action of Vice-President Knickerbocker in signing letter-agreement dated September 21, 1932, with the Bath Sales Company, providing for reduction in rental to $1,500.30 per annum for remaining term of original lease agreement, other covenants and conditions to continue in full fores and effect, is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
