Said Board of Commissioners will meet at the City Hall at the comer of Stewart and Fifth Streets in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 1958, at 7:30 P.M., to hear and consider any suggestions and objections that may be made by parties in interest to the proposed improvements, or any matters relating thereto. Objections to said proposed improvements or any matters relating thereto, may be filed in writing in the office of the City Clerk at any time prior to said meeting. Unless the owners of more than one-half of the frontage to be assessed shall file written objections thereto, such improvement or work shall be ordered. ORDINANCE NO. 753 An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, TO AMEND East Charleston SECTION I OF ORDINANCE 724, BY CHANGING THE MINIMUM BUILDING LINE SETBACK AND Setbacks FUTURE WIDTH LINE ON CHARLESTON BOULEVARD; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Bunker and Fountain was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Bunker moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 753 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Commissioners Bunker and Sharp, committee for recommendation on the proposed Barbershops amendment to the Barbershop Ordinance requested additional time before reporting. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Commissioner Fountain, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance on Inspection of Taxis Inspection of Taxis and Public Vehicles requested additional time before reporting. ORDINANCE NO. 754 An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, Rezoning, Z-8-57 REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONING DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, was read in full to the Board. Commissioners Sharp moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 754 be adopted. 12-18-57
