ns Los Angeles * Sept. 19, 1949 Files 174-2 Hr. Wm. Reinhardts ' (eoj Mr. R.A. Blond© - Ins Vegas) X enclose copy of letter dated Sept. 16th from Mr. J.Gk Allard, Chairman of the Public Service Commission of Hevada, relative to Informal meeting to be held in Las Vegas October 11th. X note Mr. Allard has apparently included quite a ' number of people in this meeting but presume there is nothing we can do about it. 1 also have been advised that the Lao Vegas paper had an account of this proposed meeting, published id thin the last day or two, with a somewhat open invitation for anyone t© be present who desired. Possibly between the data of the publication of the news item and the meeting the people will have forgotten it. I believe it would be advisable for Mr. Blonde to get in touch with Mayor Cragin and arrange for a place for the meeting and 1 imagine the Council Chambers would be the most convenient place but I will leave that up to Mr. Blonde and Mayor Cragin to work out. 1 think the smaller the room, within reason, the better it would be. 1.
