    March 5S 1951 Files 80-5 Mr* -I. a* Allard, Chairman Publlo Service Commission of Nevada Carson City, Nevada Dear Mr* Allard: I have your latter of February 27, 1951 addressed to the Las Vegas land and Water Company, Las Vegas, Nevada, re­questing that «e send to you and to Mr* Howard Cannon, City Attorney of Lae Vegas, the finaneial statement and profit and loss statement of the Union Pacific Railroad Company and the Las Vegas Land and water Company for the year 1950 not later than Marsh 15 > 1951* A oopy of the annual report of the Water Department of the Las Vsgas Land and water Company will be in your possession before March 15th. X will saa that a oopy of this report is furnished to Mr. Cannon by that data* This will furnish the information with respect to the Las Vsgas Land and water Company which is requested In your letter* as you Anew, the annual report of ths Railroad does . not ssgregate the water production facilities of the Railroad from Its other operations. We are preparing exhibits for use in the hear­ing upon our proposed increased rates which furnish detailed informa­tion concerning the properties, revenues and expenses of both the Water Ccmpany and the Railroad in connection with the production and distribution of water at Las Vsgas* It was our Intention to furnish eopies of those exhibits to ths Coesiisslon and to the City of Las Vegas as soon as completed in advenes of the hearing* X believe *• will be able to furnish our basis exhibit by March 15th* This exhibit dhows the actual results of operation for ths year 1949 and the re­sults of operation for the year 1950 on an estimated basis* We are also preparing an exhibit showing the results of operation of both the Water Company and the Railroad for the year 1950 cm an actual basis. As soon as this exhibit is completed, we will a to you and to Mr* Cannon but X cannot say at this tins that it will be available on March 15th.
