Mintues of a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held on the 15th day of January 1937 at the hour of ten o'clock A.M. Roll call showed the following present, Mayor Arnett, Commissioners Down, Krause, Marble and Perry City Attorney and Clerk. On motion of Commissioner Down seconded by Commissioner Marble it was moved and carried that the following notice be published: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, proposes to make certain im­provements, to-wit: Constructing oil bound gravel pavement and concrete curbs and gutters upon certain street in the city, together with work incidental thereto, according to plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Clerk. Sealed bids for the construction of the said improvements are invited for said work and will be received at the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall in the City of Las Vegas until 10:00 o'clock A.M. on the 30th day of January, 1937. Instructions to bidders, plans and specifications for the said improvements can be seen and examined at the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall in the City of Las Vegas, and copies may be obtained by the payment of the sum of fifteen Dollars ($15.00) therefor. To open bids for the purchase of a motor grader for the City Street Department. 2. Approve semi-monthly salary bills. 3.
