    GAMING APPLICATIONS Changes Alray Liquor Little Giant Market Wittwer's Cafe GAMING APPLICATIONS Additional Games GAMING APPLICATIONS New New Wing's Cafe Prestini's Famous Food GAMING APPLICATIONS New Town Tavern GAMING, LIQUOR & BUSINESS LICENSES Mike's Liquor SERVICE & MATERIAL WARRANT PAYROLL WARRANTS Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Aldo and Raymond Barozzi for a gaming license for 4 slot machines for the third quarter of 1955 at the Alray Liquor Store, 226 North 2nd Street, being the addition of Raymond Barozzi as a partner, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved that the application of Margaret and Joseph Kerekes and H. E. Heckethorn for a gaming license for 2 slot machines at the Little Giant Market, 107 St. Louis for the 3rd quarter of 1955 previously issued to R. J. Fitch, Fitch's Market, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of Ray Knearl for a gaming license for 4 slot machines at Wittwer's Cafe, 720 North Main, for the 3rd quarter of 1955, previously issued to I. D. Mesheske, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of Earl Turmon for the addition of 1 "21" and 1 Poker game to the gaming license of the Town Tavern, 600 Jackson for the 3rd quarter of 1955; he approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved the application of Robert Peccole for a new gaming license for 4 slot machines at New Wing's Cafe, 201 North 1st Street, for the 3rd Quarter of 1955; he approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Cardinal and Sullivan for a new gaming license for 3 slot machines at Prestini's Famous Food, 812 W. Bonanza for the 3rd quarter of 1955 he approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. City Manager A. H. Kennedy reported that Mr. Tom Rolofson had paid a $600 license fee for license for 20 slot machines for the 2nd quarter of 1955 when he had thought that the Town Tavern, 600 Jackson would be opened during said quarter. However, since the State had not licensed this location during this quarter, Mr. Rolofson requests that this fee he applied on the 3rd quarter license application. Mr. Kennedy stated that the City Attorney had advised that since the license had never been issued and this location was not open, the transfer of fees could be made. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Tom Rolofson for a new gaming license for 20 slot machines at the Town Tavern, 600 Jackson for the 3rd quarter of 1955 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of Alfred Ripps for a gaming license for 13 slot machines, a retail miniature liquor license and cigarette and general business licenses at Mike's Liquor Store, 106 Fremont for the 3rd quarter of 1955 be approved subject to the following conditions: These licenses are issued to and pursuant to the order of the Court in the Writ of Preliminary Injunction and are issued under protest thereof. The licenses will be revoked promptly upon the dissolving of said injunction. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Sharp moved the Service and Material Warrant No. 3610 in the total amount of $1,086.90 be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the payroll for the period ending June 15, 1955 be confirmed and Payroll Warrant Nos. 3091 to 3581 in the net amount of $59,194.33 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. 6-29-55
