^7 And this Board, by an order made at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of December, 1957; set the 8th day of January, 1958, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 5th and Stewart Streets, in the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, as the time and place for a public hearing on said petition and recommendation, and ordered the City Clerk to cause the aforesaid street and part thereof proposed to be vacated to be posted with a notice setting forth the time and place of the public hearing and the extent of the proposed vacation; And this Board, continuing the said hearing to the 5th day of February, 1958, and thereafter continuing the same again until the 19th day of February, 1948; And it appearing from the affidavit of Dwight Engebregson and Barney A. Dodd filed with the Clerk of this Board, that the notice provided for in said order, a copy of which notice is attached to said affidavit, was posted on the 6th day of December, 1957; in the manner prescribed by said order; And this being the time fixed for the hearing on said petition for vacation and the recommendation of the City Planning Commission thereon, and this Board having heard evidence in support of and there being no opposition to said petition and recommendation; And it appearing to the satisfaction of this Board that the portion of the street proposed to be vacated is no logger required for the public use and convenience, and that said vacation will enure to the benefit of the City of Las Vegas, and that neither the public nor any person will be materially injured thereby; IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that a forty (40) foot strip on the north and south sides of East Charleston Boulevard from 15th Street to Fremont Street, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: PARCEL I A certain tract or parcel of land approximately 40 feet by 100 feet, lying and being situate in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and being a portion of the Northeast One-Quarter (NE¼) of the Northwest One-Quarter (NW¼) of Section 2, Township 21 South, Range 61 East, M.D.B.& M., and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the Northeast comer of Lot 1, Block 4, Huntridge Subdivision Tract #3 Amended, as shown by map thereof in Book 2 of Plats, Page 63, in the Office of the County Recorder, Clark County, Nevada; thence South 89°59'23" West along the North line of said Lot 1, a distance of 86.94 feet to a point; thence tangent to the last described course along a curve to the left having a radius of 13 feet subtending a central angle of 90°06'15" an arc length of 20.44 feet to a point on the West line of said Lot 1; thence North 0°16'52" West along the Northerly prolongation of the Best line of said Lot 1 a distance of 53.06 feet more or less to a point 50 feet south of the centerline of East Charleston Boulevard measured at right angles thereto, said centerline being further described as shown in Drawing No. 008.7-73 dated and filed January 24, 1958 in the Engineering Department and the City Clerk's Office, City of Las Vegas, Nevada; thence North 89°59'23" East on a line that is 50 feet South, measured at right angles thereto and parallel with said centerline a distance of 100 feet to a point on the Northerly prolongation of the East line of said Lot 1; thence South 0°16'52" East along said Northerly prolongation of the East line of Lot 1, a distance of 40 feet to the point of beginning, containing .09 acres more or less, reserving the Easterly 5 feet thereof for the Northerly extension of the utility easement shown on Lot 1, Block 4, on map of Huntridge Subdivision Tract #3, Book 2 of Plats, Page 54, in the Office of the County Recorder, Clark County, Nevada.
