% > Affidavit of Completion of Work Permit No. 7201 Applicant Las Vegas Land and Water Company Affidavit by Las Vegas Land and Water Company By - R. L. Adamson Affidavit dated March 19, 1929 "That at least" $70,000 has been expended in--- the com­pletion of said works and at expense of applicant, and at the expense of LA&SLRR Co. for use and benefit of applicant. Improvements consisted of: "a 12” drilled well 6351 deep with 12" casing; reinforced concrete settling basin 15* x 41* with composition roof and 6" drain with all necessary fittings; 6* woven wire fence around well and basin; 12" pipe from well to basin; 24" and 16" pipe line i.82 miles long from settling basin to a point in the S.W.i of N.W.i of Sec. 34 T 20 S., R 61 E MDB&M, and distributing pipe lines from the last mentioned point to Las Vegas Townsite by means of 210’ of 16" cast iron pipe; 237901 of 6", 8" and 10" wood pipe and 2045* of 3" iron pipe; also, the following cast iron pipelines now under construction, 10760’ of 4*7120’ of 6" and 4152’ of 8", and were made at well and applicant’s distributing system at Las Vegas, Nevada. "Said improvements were begun prior to August 23, 1924, and were completed prior to November 1, 1928." Proof of Application of Water to Beneficial Use (under' Permit No. 7201) executed June 28, 1932 by Leo.A. McNamee as attorney for LVL&W Co. contains following statement: "Water from subterranean channel or artesian belt is diverted through 12" drilled well, 635 feet deep, to a settling basin; thence through 24" wood stave pipe to a 2,500,000 gallon concrete reservoir. Water is drawn from the reservoir for municipal supply and domestic use through one 16" wood stave and one 24" cast iron pipe lines, from which main pipe lines 10", 8", 6" and 4" wood and cast iron mains distribute water for municipal supply and domestic use to the City of Las Vegas served by lines owned and oper­ated by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company, and also serv­ed by lines owned and operated by various private owners of subdivisions, but for which water is furnished by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company. The main pipe lines herein mentioned are the same main pipe lines shown in the proof of beneficial use under application No. 7200 and the cost of said main pipe lines are not again included in the expendi­
