The announcement was made by Richard G. Danner, general manager and Harry Goodheart, casino manager for the hotel. Bridge, a native of California, has had extensive experience in the field of hotel sales and casino-related activities since moving to Las Vegas eight years ago. In addition to Bridgefs prior experience as Director of Sales and as a Casino Executive at the Sands for five years, he has served as Director of Sales for the Hacienda Hotel and the Sheraton Hotel chain. He attended Stanford University and is a graduate of the University of California. A military veteran, Bridge served in combat infantry units in World War II and he holds the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. As a Lt. Colonel, he served as an aide to General Omar N. Bradley for five years. His association with Bradley was so close that he served as one of the technical advisors on the picture uPattonM.
