Richard Wiley, professor of English at UNLV, graduated from the University of Puget Sound, Sophia University in Tokyo, and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He is the author of four novels. Soldiers in Hiding, which won the PEN/Faulkner Award for best American fiction, 1987, Fools’ Gold, Festival for Three Thousand Maidens, and Indigo.
